Welcome
I am an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Northern British Columbia.
My research interests are in partial differential equations (PDE) and nonlinear analysis. Keywords related to my research include: elliptic and parabolic nonlinear PDE, traveling fronts and propagation phenomena, nonlocal diffusion, fractional Laplacian, reaction-diffusion systems, mathematical biology, population dynamics, and semilinear wave equations.
Brief Biography
I received my PhD in Mathematics from Aix-Marseille Université in 2008 under the supervision of François Hamel. I then held a PIMS Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver until 2010. From 2010 until 2011, I was a Postdoctoral Associate at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, USA. From 2012 until 2014, I was an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto. Before joining UNBC, I held faculty positions at the American University of Beirut (2014–2016) and the University of New Brunswick (2016–2019).
